I am trying to set up a small irc instance on my raspberry, mostly just
for some friends to talk.
I have Rocky Linux on it, which has ngircd and unrealircd. Which one of
those is better? Or should I just choose something else?

Hi, I joined this group because I want to setup an IRC server on my debian 12,
for now the best choice seems to be inspircd

I decided to use ngircd in the end as that was what a friend of mine was
running. it also turned out to be way easier to configure than inspircd
(which at least in my debian system was locked down rather completely).

we now have a very small network of two machines we use to talk on.

Can I connect to that network, or is just Local?
Thanks.
